Artist Notes:

One of my favorite things about a snowy day is when the wind has died down and the sun begins to shine in the silence. The blanket covering everything makes it soundless, quiet, and serene. It is a time to hear my thoughts, to reflect on what I think, what I want to do, and who I want to be. There is too much cold and snow to do anything else – so I watch and wait for the familiar sound of His voice, His promise of spring, and the life which is inevitable and just around the corner.
